Facebook Emoji Emotions Is Enabled Again

Based on wikipedia, Emoji (絵文字) is the Japanese term for the picture characters or emoticons used in Japanese electronic messages and webpages. Originally meaning pictograph, the word literally means e “picture” + moji “letter”. The characters are used much like emoticons elsewhere, but a wider range is provided, and the icons are standardized and built into the handsets. Some emoji are very specific to Japanese culture, such as a bowing (apologizing) businessman, a face wearing a face mask or a group of emoji representing popular foods (ramen noodles, dango, onigiri, Japanese curry, sushi). The three main Japanese operators, NTT DoCoMo, au and SoftBank Mobile (formerly Vodafone), have each defined their own variants of emoji.

Usually, this emotions set can only be used on facebook using mobile phone like, iphone or android. Long before this, we can use an app named emoji to add this to our wall and comment, but it was filtered already, that time, we could even develop our own application to send this emoji icons set to reply comments. But recently the method was filtered by facebook.

How To Save Pictures From Friendster

Is it true that Friendster is shutting down on May 31, 2011? Not exactly, the truth is that On May 31, Friendster will move to wipe out all photos, blogs, comments and groups uploaded or created by its users. The company will, however, keep all accounts alive, along with user friends lists, games details and basic profile information. Friendster is making the changes under the guise of reinventing themselves as a service focused on entertainment and fun (which sounds exactly like Myspace when they started feeling the Facebook heat for real.

I made this post to help people who want to save all their pictures/photos from Friendster before the day. Some friends even contact me through contact form, they ask me how to save pictures from Friendster? Friendster actually has created an application called Friendster Exporter which will enable us to export all of our profile information including photos. The problem is, when we cant login to our account and we dont even know the email associated with our profile, we cant use the Friendster Exporter app, we have to save all our pictures one by one, this will surely take so much time. By using this script, we dont have to login to Friendster and we can also save all of our friends pictures, as long as we can see the album, we can save all the pictures inside.

Javascript Iframe Overlay Layout

For those who want to add an html iframe layout to their page, overlayed, covering the whole page, you can use this simple script. You can have a defaced-like page using your own site as the content of the page. Whenever you are able to insert an xss on certain site, you can also use this to deface the page using your own html page. I’m using html frameset to change the document content.

Show Facebook Suggest to Friends Dialog

If you are an admin of a facebook fan page or a facebook application page you can find the Suggest to Friends link on the left bottom part of the page for application page, while for a fan page, you can find it on the top right of your page. You can easily click the link to suggest your page to your friends. But the problem is, when you are not an admin of a certain page, you cant now find the link on that page. It was not like this before, Suggest to Friends was actually an Invite Friends link on the old version of a fan page/application page. Anyone could invite their friends at that time even when they’re not the admin.

Now it’s a little bit hard to suggest a facebook page to our friends when your not the admin. Many people ask, How to show Facebook Suggest to Friends Dialog ?. Well, we can use javascript address bar hack to show the dialog. using this simple code, the dialog will show whenever you click on any part of the page.
